Transportation design students at Turin-Based IED have developed a new model car in partnership with BMW for creating a language evolution car at 2015.




This car got an award for Unseen Technology at the interior motives design award 2007, the designer of the car is Matúš Procháczka from Slovak. This car has two technologies in one vehicle. This car uses a polarity electric engine to ride in the road. In additional this car will require the roads to be made of huge concrete panels with magnets formed in them.



This Royal College of Art Concept Cars is designed by fourteen postgraduate car designers. These students competing for the 2008 Pilkington automotive award, their projects ranged from a fresh take on eco-design to find the new ways of expressing personalization.

I live watching videos and pictures of new cars.I have a passion for them.But due to distractions to other topics I could not pay attention to watching out the new cars/concept cars in the market.But Hight3ch reverted my attention back to my favourite topic and just to thank him I am writing a post on the car he liked Lamborghini Reventon.

It costs $1.6Million, it has 650 horse power and there will be only 20 ever made. It will do well over 200/mph and will probably get you a chick even before you sit in it.

Giugiaro has set to work on a concept car which will both be less environmentally harmful yet still delviver some serious power. The Italian design house used Toyota's Hybrid Synergy Drive to power their idea of a futuristic super car employing state-of-the-art F1 technology. Giugiaro claims: "It is an “extreme”, ecological, 4WD super-sportscar, the first hybrid car with mid-engine and driving position and a roomy cabin able to accommodate three adults plus a baby in complete comfort."
The Quaranta's claim to fame is that it houses a mid-mounted hybrid powertrain supplied by a Toyota. The 3.3L V6 combined with Toyota's Hybrid Synergy Drive produces a combined 268 horsepower and 212 pound feet of torque, which Italdesign claims is good for a 4.05 second run to 62 mph in the lightweight and perfectly balanced Quaranta. At the same time, its pair of fuel tanks integrated into the frame can hold nearly 16 gallons of fuel, good for a 621-mile range. The entire opaque roof is also comprised of solar panels, which run the interior electronics and charge the batteries. The concept can employ two- or all-wheel-drive depending on the conditions, and can also raise its ride height up to a maximum of 9.17 inches. The cockpit of the Quaranta is also a study in far out design, with a 1+3 seating arrangement that places the driver front and center, with two more seats on either side and further back, and a small child seat directly behind the driver.

The Quaranta is a well thought out concept with every aspect of its design backed by a reason and a function. From its shape to its powertrain to its interior ambiance, it will debut in Geneva as a rolling resume for Italdesign's services. And after reading through the lengthy press release that describes every complex system contained in the Quaranta's wedgy shape, we'd be happy to be listed as a reference.

Pininfarina — the go-to design house for Ferrari and others — has released an image of its concept set to bow at the Geneva Motor Show next month. Dubbed the Sintesi, the show car will not only be stylish but will also showcase some new active safety systems.

One of the technologies the Sintesi concept will debut is a system Pininfarina calls Clancast. The Clancast system talks with other cars on the road to communicate traffic patterns, eliminating the need for traffic lights and other street signs.

From the sketches released earlier this year, we can also infer that the car will use a hydrogen fuel-cell and will have seating for four.

The show car was penned under Lowie Vermeersch — the company's head of design — and is the first concept Pininfarina has shown in three years.
